Carletta Marie Allen

Carletta M. Allen, 65, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Ohiohealth Mansfield Hospital after an extended illness. Carletta Jackson was born on September 1, 1960, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Willie Jackson and the late Melba Majors. Mansfield was her home throughout her life, and it was also the community in which she dedicated much of her time to working, serving, helping, and caring for others Carletta was a woman who wore many hats throughout her life. She worked in several areas of service and care, including group home services, nursing home care, Community Action as a teacher's aide, METS Transportation Services, home health care, and sanitary/cleaning services. She also worked with the Oasis of Love security team and participated in efforts to feed people experiencing homelessness. Her work reflected a life spent helping others in many different ways throughout the Mansfield community. Behind everything Carletta did was a woman with a strong personality, a memorable spirit, and a deep love for her family. She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Willie Jackson, sons, Pierre (Terra) Jackson and Curtis Jackson; and her daughter, Jamaica (Joseph) Foster. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie Jackson; her brother, Heath Harvey; her nieces, Trina (Danny) Brown and Ciara (Brandon) Thomas; and her nephew, Eric Jackson Jr. Her legacy will continue through her beloved grandchildren, Andrew Jackson, Ni-Shan Rawls, Andrea Elliott, Najee Rawls, Rashawn Allen, Adrian Jackson, Nakhia Allen, Ty'Zaireah Osborne, Trinnee Jackson, Arianna Jackson, Samourah Jackson, and Rhenage Foster, along with her 12 great-grandchildren. Carletta also leaves behind a host of cousins, extended relatives, friends, former coworkers, and members of the community whose lives crossed paths with hers throughout her 65 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Melba Jackson, daughter, Anttonea M. Jackson, and brother, Eric Jackson Sr. Receiving family and friends at her son house 112 S. Ireland Blvd, Ontario, OH 44906, from 4pm-8pm. The services will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11 am, with one hour prior calling to the services at Mt Hermon Baptist church. 292 Charles St., Mansfield, Ohio 44903, with Pastor Link B. Briggs, Sr. Officiating. The family has entrusted Small's Funeral Services with the arrangements. .
