Mansfield, Jerry Smith, 71, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on June 20th, 1950, to the late Queen and Walter Smith, he made Mansfield his home. Jerry had a deep passion for music and singing, he was a lead singer in a number of bands he had over the years. His sense of humor and quick wit would light up a room, he was always the life of the party. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and having family cookouts, the more the merrier. Jerry brought so much laughter and fun to all who knew him, friends and family will sadly miss him. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Smith; his brother, Samuel (Rebecca) Smith; sisters, Gale and Patsy Smith; sons, Jerry Stuff and Scott Medina; daughters, Kristie Medina, Dawn Smith, and Ashlie Smith.; His step-children, Tiffany and Britney Borr; grandchildren, Shelby, Jacalyn, Ryan Stuff, Miranda, Kristen, Melissa, Ashley, Kaylee Smith, Hannah, Austin, Alec, Christopher, Elliot, Carter Medina, Tristin, Trinity, Jack, David Smith, Jaxson Baker, Landon Jessop, Lavell Williams, Marcello Montgomery, Savannah, Lamar, Brooklyn Ruth and Carson Borr; 15 beautiful great grandchildren; special people he held close to his heart, Brenda, Carl (Pee-wee), and Shane; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, Queen and Walter Smith, son, Anthony Smith; daughter, Jill Smith; Sister, Breta Smith.
