Mansfield, Eugene McNeil, 76, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at home unexpectedly. Eugene was born August 11, 1945, in Yazoo, MS, to the late John McNeil and Jessie Mae Lewis-McNeil. He made Mansfield his home. Eugene leaves to cherish in his memory his sons, Bryan Grier, of Dayton and Eric McNeil, of Columbus; daughters, Lisa Grier, of Columbus, Kimberly (Dan) Miller and Demia Waddell, both of Mansfield; brother, Easther (Daisy) McNeil, of Mansfield; sisters, Karen (Walter) Mosely, and Joyce Pender, both of Mansfield; aunt, Ruth Newbern, of Mansfield; brother-in-law, Clarence Sylvester, of Mansfield; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy Almanson and Delores Sylvester, brother, Johnny McNeil. The Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, 11 am, at Providence Baptist Church, 112 W. 6th St., Mansfield, Ohio, with Rev. Mark Cobb officiating. The family has entrusted Small’s Funeral Services with the arrangements.
